Lisa is a 6x iron-distance champion and multiple course record holder, making regular appearances on podiums around the world. She's been a full-time professional triathlete since 2013 when she sold her landscape architecture business to give professional racing a go. It's been full steam ahead ever since until...2020.
How has Lisa adapted to a non-existent race season, just like we are all experiencing right now? We all know how hard it is to stay motivated during these times, so how is she keeping herself and the athletes she coaches optimistic? What are the long-lasting takeaways for all of us during these uncharted waters?
Join Lisa for part one of our all-new "Adapting in Adversity" live series.
Lisa attributes her perseverance to a turning point in her family life when, at age 11, Lisa's father was in a swimming accident that left him quadriplegic. This experience and her father's positive approach to a devastating life change is part of her moral fiber that gives her endless positivity and willingness to push through. With Lisa's compass, let's all push through and find opportunity in adversity together.
